Rob Waters is a Gomeroi man with deep cultural connections to the North West of NSW. He is a poet, storyteller, cultural educator and spoken word artist who has been sharing Story for over 20 years. Rob has won heats in Bankstown Poetry Slam, been a multi-time NSW State Poetry Slam finalist and a National finalists in the Australian Poetry Slam.
By utilising Aboriginal storytelling methodologies to examine the history of Australia through contemporary practice, Rob represents a story that needs to be told, and a story that needs to be heard.
