Rosie Wild is a sought-after poet and vocalist whose work grapples with gender, celebrates queerness, simmers with rage about systemic injustice, and reels with wonder at nature. A published and award-winning poet whose speech and understanding of language changed with chronic illness, they find new paths to let their words ring.
They have been commissioned to present spoken-word pieces at Festivals, showcases, queer celebrations, chronic illness forums, environmental actions and gender-specific events. Their project, Storm Chasers Inc., with Anders Pfeiffer and Jez Conlon, explores improvised vocalisations and spoken word with instrumentation. They are currently compiling work to release as a spoken-word EP along with a zine anthology in 2027.
