Her work is shaped by Nahua and Yaqui family lineages, experiences of displacement and diaspora, and years spent working in the Community services sector. Moving between poetry, visual art and community practice, she explores the intersections of joy and resistance, identity, violence and the cosmos. Her work asks how memory survives across generations, how people carry worlds with them through displacement, and how creativity can become a practice of continuity, belonging and future making.
