A special feature event acknowledging the poets from Running Water Community Press and a tribute to those who have passed from the Arlhekenhe Angentye/Women’s Talk Collection, supported by Akeyulerre.
From Arrernte and English to Spanish – the poetry created in the famous collection has been translated into Spanish thanks to the Instituto Cervantes de Sydney. Join us for a sunset event featuring a smoking ceremony, Arrernte Cultural dancers, traditional flamenco guitar dancing and of course, poetry.
Entry fees and collections for this event will be donated to Running Water Community Press.
